Jakarta, November 23, 2017 – APP was named The Most Powerful Company by Warta Ekonomi magazine. This was the third award that APP received from Warta Ekonomi. The award was based on an assessment of corporates listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) deemed the best by Warta Ekonomi and also on the company’s performance in the last three years. The honored companies are estimated to represent between 50 percent and 70 percent of the total market capitalization value of all the stocks listed on the IDX.
APP deputy director Irsyal Yasman represented PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper in receiving the award of The Most Powerful Company in pulp and paper. The award was given directly by Warta Ekonomi Chief Editor Muhammad Ihsan and founder Fadel Muhammad.
Fadel said the Indonesia Most Powerful Companies Award (IMPCA) 2017 highlighted companies deemed to be highly influential in Indonesia. Nominated companies are open companies with good stock development. Apart from high liquidity and large market capitalization value, nominated companies also have sound foundations and performances.
